Preventative and Corrective Maintenance

Like any complex piece of technology or substantial investment, it’s important to take proper and routine care of a solar installation to ensure maximum safety and performance.

• Preventative maintenance of modules, inverters, and electrical BOS
• Inspection of site conditions (including aerial drone imagery)
• On-site troubleshooting & diagnostics of all system components
• Inverter and Data Acquisition System resets
• Processing of OEM warranty claims on behalf of customer and verification of replaced equipment

Performance Analysis and Monitoring

All identifiable faults are detected and recorded during the optical check and cleaning. These include loose junction boxes, faulty cables, deformed frames, cell inclusions and breakages, delamination, visible hotspots, and scratches.

• Documentation inspection 
• Visual inspection of the generator field, including support structure, modules, mounting, cabling, and shadowing
• Visual inspection of cabling to the inverter
• Visual inspection of the inverter and connecting boxes, including location and mounting
• Visual inspection of the safety system and labeling, including lightning and overvoltage protection
